Henry David Coursey Jr., was born Saturday, September 1st, 1945, in Lewes, Delaware and departed this life on Sunday, July 12th, 2020. He was the second oldest child of the late Henry David Coursey Sr. and late Thedora Seymour-Coursey. He was educated at William C. Jason Highschool. In his younger years he loved playing baseball and football. He enjoyed enjoyed fishing (the salt life). He also spent a short time in the Army. He later worked for The Lamp Post as a cook. He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter Tammy Coursey-Wescott(Calvin Wescott Jr.), a granddaughter Alecia Wescott, a grandson Calvin Wescott III, a great granddaughter Saige Wescott, a brother William Coursey(Ernestine Coursey), two nieces Wilma Norwood(Stephen Norwood), Tyshia Coursey, a nephew Theodore Collick(Lois Collick), two special cousins Kitty Perry and Pat Lee, and a host of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Henry David Coursey Sr. and Thedora Seymour-Coursey, and sister Thelma Coursey-Collick.
