Helen C. McCormackPOUGHKEEPSIE - Helen C. McCormack, 76 of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on July 20, 2017 at The Pines in Poughkeepsie. She was born on June 15, 1941 in Queens, NY, the daughter of Thomas P. & Dorothy M. Brasch McCormack.Helen was employed by the Metropolitan Transit Authority in College Point, NY. She retired in 2006. Helen was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in College Point, NY. She was a loving mother who enjoyed art and drawing. Animals were a large part of her life as well as going to Casino's and gambling especially at Mohegan Sun.Survivors include her son: Donald(Donna) DesArmo of Yorktown Heights, NY; daughters: Tracy(Alfred) Vize of Wappingers Falls, NY; Lori(Frank)Useche of Poughkeepsie, NY and her sister: Linda McCormack of Delray Beach, Florida. Grandchildren include: Michael & Christopher DesArmo, Casey & Kelly Vize and Sienna & Hunter Useche. There are nephews: Joey Pace & Michael Pace-Carino.Services are private and burial at the convenience of the family.
