Geraldine E. "Gerry" Cody, age 87, of Beaver Dams, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Schuyler Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1929 in Brockport, the daughter of Albert and Mildred (Fischer) Foster.Gerry was a loving and caring person who liked fishing, picnics, camping and cooking. She worked at the former A & P Plant in Horseheads for several years.She is survived by her long time companion, Donald Mosher of Beaver Dams, siblings, Richard (Mary) Foster of Ceres, CA, Mary Jean Buske of Churchville, NY and Leonard (Jeanne) Foster of Trumansburg, sister-in-law, Edith Foster of Trumansburg, one daughter, two sons, step children, Cora Lee of Elmira, Charles Mosher of Beaver Dams, and Lisa Mosher of Bath, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Gerry was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Mildred Foster, siblings, Mildred Tuttle, Dorothy Terwilliger, Edward Foster, Pete Foster, and Kenneth Foster.Family and friends are invited to call at Carpenter's Funeral Home, 14 East Pulteney Street, Corning, on Monday, November 7, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
