Emma Darlene Hollis SheppardClarksville, TNEmma Darlene Hollis Sheppard, 99, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016, at Spring Meadows Healthcare.Darlene was born on March 24, 1917, in Montgomery County, TN to the late Henry Ervin Hollis and Martha Appleton Hollis. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin D. Sheppard; three brothers, Marvin Hollis, Guy Hollis, and Bobby Hollis; and three sisters, Nina Stagner, Lois Dyce, and Novella Ray.Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at the Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Tramill, Rev. Sonny Kim, and Rev. Tom Dowdy officiating. Burial will be at Nanney-Hollis Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2016, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. and Friday, December 16, 2016, from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.Darlene was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church, the American Red Cross, and the United Methodist Women's Society.Darlene is survived by her daughter, Barbara Jean Harbin (Steve) of Lake Mary, FL; brother, E.J. Hollis (Nell) of Henrietta, TN; two grandchildren, Dannette Short (William) and Erick Byrd (Angela); five great-grandchildren, Sarah E. Sholly (Josh), Emma K. Short, Joshua Byrd, Jonathan Byrd, and Dannielle Molloy; and three great great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Mike Ray, Rodney Hollis, Phillip Hollis, William Short, Phillip Hester, Gary Weakley, Andy Hollis, and Tyler Hollis.
