Elizabeth Ann AndersonElizabeth Ann Anderson passed away December 9, 2016. "Libby" as she was affectionately known, was born on June 25, 1943, in West Chester, Pennsylvania and raised in Dilworthtown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Esther Louise (Henry) and James Jerome Medley, Sr. She graduated from Unionville High School and attended Graduate Hospital formerly known as the Graduate School of Medicine where she obtained her LPN License in Nursing. She was employed for 22 years as a Head Nurse at Friends Hall of West Chester, Pennsylvania. After retiring, she opened and operated Anderson Day Care which cared for countless children for the next 22 years. She attended the New Community Church where she was a member for over 30 years. She was a Faithful Usher and became the founder of the "Heart to Heart Ministries". On August 20, 1971, Libby married her love and best friend, David Anderson. She is survived by her husband David Anderson; sisters Phyllis Johnson of Downingtown, PA, Nancy Jarrett of West Chester, PA, and Linda Williams of Harrisburg, PA; Brother-In-Laws, Otis Anderson (Bonnie) and Leroy Anderson; Surrogate Daughter, Angela Miller (Joseph) of Wilmington, DE; Step Children, Regina Newton of Erie, PA, Darryl Griffin of Newark, DE and Shannon Woodloe of Wilmington, DE; Eight Grandchildren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings James Medley Jr., Thomas Medley, Kenneth Medley, Betty Jane Medley and Jeane Medley.Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 11:00AM at the New Community Church of God, 116 W. 41st Street, Wilmington, DE.
