Dennis Evans, age 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday August 16, 2020 at home in Harlem NY. He was born on January 28, 1932 to Dennis Evans Sr and Ernestine Evans in Lumberton NC.

He worked as a car mechanic for numerous years but his main job was with the MTA for over 30 years. He displayed a wonderful knack for solving problems. Dennis truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasure; chatting with friends and family, snacking, fishing and spending time with his grand and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. His love, laughter and generosity will be dearly missed by all.
