David Allen Downey1957-2015David Allen Downey, age 58, passed away at his home in Pearland, surrounded by his family on Sunday, October 11, 2015. He was born on January 10, 1957 in Houston, Texas to Thomas and Florence (Garcia) Downey. David graduated from Sharpstown High School and immediately began a 30 year career with Southwestern Bell, now AT&T. David and his wife, Ginger enjoyed traveling together as well as spending time with family and friends. David's special interests and hobbies included golf, dancing, basketball, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his beloved wife of 9 years, Ginger; sons, Luke, Brian and daughter-in-law, Trisha, Michael Fiorendino, and Benjamin Fiorendino; 2 grandchildren, Brady and Baylee Downey; 2 sisters, Donna Vasquez and Karen Downey; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church Friendswood, 111 East Heritage Drive, Friendswood. The family will greet friends for lunch following the service.
