Colleen Victoria Monahan, 32, of Galway Ireland, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2018, in Oceanside California.

Colleen was born to the late Daniel and Margaret Monahan on New Years Day, January 1, 1986.

She graduated from Salerno Secondary school in 2000 and Galway Technical Institute in 2014. Colleen received an advanced certificate in software development.

Colleen was passionate about making a difference in children’s lives. She traveled to Pule Wey, Indonesia and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, volunteering in orphanages to create medical protocols for staff to implement.

She loved animals, children, loved to cook, travel and spend time with family and friends. She was loved by all and always had a smile on her face. She was a ray of sunshine.

She is survived by her sister Alana Victoria Monahan of Galway Ireland, 4 cousins and her fiancé Prince Opute Parker of Delta Nigeria. Colleen was extremely close to her extended family of Christine Day of Oceanside California, and Molly Burke of Phoenix Arizona.
