Clayton Edward Effee was born to Curtis and Estelle Effee on September 26th, 1950, in Orlando Florida.
He was the oldest of six children. Clayton moved to Boston when he was sixteen, where he attended Boston public schools. In 1968 Clayton enlisted in the U.S Navy. He worked and resided in Boston until the early 90's, where he then moved to New York.
Clayton was fun, loving, and a gym enthusiast. He was also a very straightforward man, who spoke his mind. Clayton was a good listener. Clayton enjoyed listening to the Life achievements of family and friends. He was also an avid Boston Sports fan. Clayton had a great sense of humor and a memorable laugh. He will be missed.
Clayton came back to Boston after 30 years, to be with HIS family at this time.
Clayton leaves to mourn his life partner Ms. Marjorie Mills, her three children who he helped raise as his own. Also two Grandchildren Dea'jha & Zacharia, who are going to miss their "PaPa".
His only Daughter Sonya T. Cowans, and her three children Cortney, Tanasia, and Daylin who was lucky enough to share his birthday.
Two surviving sisters Luvenia and Catherine Effee. His only brother Carl Effee. He also leaves a host of niece and nephews, one in which he shared a special bond Maleea'k Effee.
Although Clayton will be missed deeply, he will not be alone. He has a few loved ones waiting at the Pearly Gates for him. His mom and dad, three sisters Wilma, Lenora, Christine. And his only son Clayton jr.
