Christine Michelle LewisAGE: 44 • WilmingtonChristine Michelle Lewis, age 44, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Townsend, DE, passed away at her home on Friday, July 21, 2017 after a brief illness.She was born on February 28, 1973 in Wilmington, DE, and graduated from Smyrna High School in 1992.Christine was the beloved daughter of Anthony Frank Lewis, Jr. and Karen Stephania Lewis of Townsend, DE.Ms. Lewis worked for many years for Amtrak in Wilmington as a Car Repairman.Christine loved celebrating holidays with her family, baking cookies in preparation of her favorite holiday.... Christmas and most of all spending time with her family, especially with her two boys Jonathan and Logan. Christine enjoyed cooking for her friends and even though she had limited resources she was willing to share and help anyone and everyone.She had a never ending love for her boys and they were her reason to move forward to overcome many obstacles. In addition to her parents, Christine is survived by her two sons, Logan and Jonathan Lewis of Townsend, DE; her brother,Tony Lewis and sister in law Lanai Lewis; and grandmother, Lucille Lewis of New Castle. She leaves behind several Aunts and Uncles as well as cousins, nephews and nieces. She cherished her niece Brianna Lewis and a friend she considered a sister and extended family, Lisa & Tony Cahall and children as well as God daughter, Shelby Lynn Morgan from Virginia.Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, located at 20 W. Mt.
