Arthur B. BrownCroswellCROSWELL- Arthur B. Brown, age 92, a resident of Croswell passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at his residence.He was born on July 5, 1924 in Croswell a son of the late George and Olive M. (Sanderson) Brown.  Art married Mary Ann Putz on October 15, 1949 in Croswell.   She preceded him in death on July 20, 2008.Art was a longtime 4-H leader.  He had over 35 years of service with the Michigan Milk Producers Association.  He also devoted many years to the Croswell Fair Board and was a Lexington Township Trustee for over 30 years.  He enjoyed his membership in the Draft Horse Association and the Black River Area Antique  Power Club.  He was devoted to his family, neighbors, friends and was a dedicated part of the McDonalds breakfast group.Art  is survived by four children, Bonnie (Leonard) Beulla  of Applegate, George (Christie) Brown of Croswell, Julie Walding of Lexington and Paul (Deanna) Brown of Rose City;   11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Two sisters Helen Nunn of Croswell and Mildred Cutler-Clark of Port Sanilac.  Several nieces and nephews and lifelong friends Jim and Lois Gordon of Croswell.Art was preceded in death by a son in law Thomas Walding, a  brother Edward Brown and three sisters Jean McDowell, Beatrice Collins and Olive Adams.Visitation will be from 2-9 on Tuesday and 12 Noon until 1  P.M. on Wednesday  at the Pomeroy Funeral Home in Croswell.Funeral  services will be held at 1 P.M.  on Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Lew Hurley will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorials in memory of Art may be made to the Sanilac Co. 4-H Fair. www.pomeroyfuneralhomes.com
