HOLYOKE - Anne Josephine "Gigi" (Juzaszek) Nebosky, 92, passed away peacefully into eternal life on November 30, 2016 at Mount St. Vincent Nursing Home surrounded by the memories she loved and cherished. She is once again reunited with her husband Chester who predeceased her in 2005.Anne was born on September 5, 1924 a beloved daughter of the late Severyn and Mary (Kuk) Juzaszek and lived her entire life in her treasured city of Chicopee. Anne was a communicant of the Basilica of St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr in Chicopee.Anne leaves her loving children, Mark C. Neboski of Chicopee, Paul S. Nebosky and his wife Patricia of South Deerfield, and Laura A. Kida and her husband Alan of Agawam, 5 grandchildren Paul Nebosky Jr and his spouse Kelley, Marisa Nebosky, Alison Nebosky, Shane Brooks and Season Bryant and her precious great grandchild Zachary Benjamin Nebosky. Anne also leaves behind her sister, Mary Midura of Framingham and many nephews and nieces. Anne was predeceased by her brother Joseph Juzaszek in 1995.Anne was actively involved in her Catholic faith and was an avid member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and The Rosary Society of the Basilica. She was also a member of the Polish Women's Alliance of America. Not a day went by without her watching the Mass on television along with saying her daily rosary. Nobody could bother her during these two hours. She was a robust reader of the daily newspaper and books up until her final moments. Anne was a passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and Notre Dame Football. Anne was a graduate of Chicopee High School along with attending business school. She was employed by the US Army Air Corp bases as a bookkeeper throughout New England during WW II until 1951. Anne then devoted her life to raising her children and taking care of family members in need. Her family was her pride and joy and nothing was more important to her than cooking her Polish food and the annual family gathering for Wigilia on Christmas Eve.The family would like to thank the staffs at Linda Manor assisted living of Leeds MA, Mercy Hospital, and Mount St. Vincent Nursing for the care and comfort Mom received.Calling hours for Anne will be held Saturday morning from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Stanislaus Basilica, Chicopee. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
