Belt, Alice Michel Age 91, retired legal secretary, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015. The daughter of Christian Frederick "Fred" Michel and Caroline "Carrie" Schupbach Michel, Alice was born on July 13, 1924, in Burlington, OK and moved to Wichita in 1942 to begin her career as a secretary. Alice married Harold Belt in March 15, 1947, at the parsonage of Broadway Christian Church in Wichita. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, George, Vernon, Ray, John, Ben, Joseph Michel; and one sister, Emma Greiner. Survivors include her husband, Harold; sons, Robert (Jo) Belt, Michel Belt; and one granddaughter, Mackenzie Paige Belt. Private Services will be held. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with St. James Episcopal Church of New London, 76 Federal St., New London, CT 06320.
