Zoila Esperanza Vargas, age 81, of Pennsville, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, sisters, and family on September 15, 2022 after a short illness. She was born in Barahona, Dominican Republic to the late Martha Feliz and Francisco Feliz. Zoila relocated to New York City in the early 1970’s. She moved to Delaware in 1992. Upon returning to Delaware she dedicated her last few years to her children and grandchildren. Zoila was a strong, hard-working, loving mother, sister, and grandmother. She was honest and forthright and always spoke her mind with absolutely no filter. Zoila loved her music especially her Bachata and Johnny Walker. She loved to cook her traditional Dominican Food. She took care of everyone and welcomed everyone into her home and made sure they were fed. She was an amazing mother, sister and grandmother.Zoila is survived by her two children: Ignaty Moreta-Wright (Craig), Martin Marte (Melissa) and a special niece whom she considered her own, Geisy Carrasco; her sisters, Milagros Feliz, Carmen(Selenne) Feliz, Milka Feliz, Benigna (Mami) Rincon, Yadira McCrea; Brothers: Jovino Cornielle, Wilson Feliz, Miguel Feliz, Grin Feliz, Julio Feliz and Rafelito Bilomar; 6 grandchildren: Jessica Alicea, Joseph (Jojo) Russo, Jenna Russo, Julissa (Juju) Moreta Wright, Alessandra (Ale) Marte and Nayeli Marte; 3 great grandchildren: Amelia, Daisy and Logan and bonus grandchildren: Aileen, Brandon, Briana and Lucca.
