With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rev Dr Zedekiah (Isaac) Mitchell, 87, of Highgate, Saint Mary Parish. Zedekiah was a beloved member of the community, known for his kind heart and gentle spirit. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was the founder and pastor of the 1st United Pentecostal Church of Highate in St. Mary, a teacher at UPC Bible School, Jabi Bible School. He attended Beckford and Smith (St Jago High School), travelled worldwide to preach and teach the undiluted word of God. His specialty was marriage conferences where he was very open and down to earth. Zedekiah touched the lives of many with his infectious smile and positive attitude. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He's left to mourn his loss, wife, Eunice (Shirley), children Karen (Wayne), Chery (Shanon)l, Steve (Calci), Nadine, Andrew (Tanya), and their children. Other family members, church family, and friends. May he rest in peace, his memory forever cherished in our hearts.
