It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Zamiri Gaines on September 25, 2025, in Jackson, Mississippi, Zamiri was born on September 18, 2025, to Jarvis Gaines and Lakesha Moore.

Although Zamiri's life with us was brief, the impact of his presence will forever be cherished. Zamiri was a beloved child who brought joy and light to all those around them.

Tragically, Zamiri's life was cut short due to suffocation. Despite the circumstances surrounding his passing, Zamiri will always be remembered and missed dearly.

Zamiri is survived by his parents, Jarvis Gaines and Lakesha Moore. Both loving and hard working people . Zamiri Gaines preceded in death a lovely grandmother Mable London and an older sister zanaya Gaines it’s been a hard bumpy year with the losses of King Zamiri and Zanaya Gaines but God does no wrong he had a better plans for you we will always love you no matter the little time we had together you were my child. Rest in peace Zamiri gone but never forgotten.
