It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of ZaKiya Gippson, who left us on September 9, 2024, in San Francisco, California. She was born on November 30, 1979, to her loving parents John Gippson and Maxine Johnson.

ZaKiya was a devoted mother to her five children, Kenneth Wayne Wiley Jr, Zaria Gippson, Za’Kayla Stone, Edward Reid, and Al Reid. She was a pillar of strength and love for her family, always putting their needs before her own.

ZaKiya was known for her infectious laughter and kind spirit. She had a way of making everyone around her feel loved and cherished. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in ZaKiya's memory. Let us remember her with smiles and laughter, as she would have wanted.
