It is with great sadness and broken hearts, that we announce the passing of Zachary Metzler Sr, age 31. Zachary was born on November 24, 1990 in New Orleans, La. He is survived by his beautiful children, Elizabel Jimenez, Zachary Metzler II, and Katalina Rose Metzler; Fiance, Jessi Vega; Parents, Paul E. Metzler III, Pamela Mackles Mena and step-father Richard Mena; Brothers, Jason Metzler Sr., Paul Metzler IV(Victoria), and Matthew Metzler. As well as 6 nephews, 1 niece, and many other family members who will miss him very dearly. Zachary was the light of our family. His smile and vivacious personality was contagious to all those who had the pleasure of being around him. A memorial service will be held on May 26th, at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church in Violet, La from 11:00am-1:00pm, followed by a celebration of his life at St. Bernard State Park pavilion in Braithwaite, La.
