Yvonne Marie Lozon Poulin, 81, formerly of Jacksonville, NC passed away peacefully on Friday, October 17, 2014. She was born on August 31, 1933, in Euclid, Ohio, to the late Carl Fabian Lozon, Jr. and Mary Frances Lozon Benjamin. She owned Yvonne's Bridal and Fashions of Jacksonville, NC. Yvonne was an incredible wedding gown seamstress who was able to create one of the most symbolic garments in a woman's life. She was gifted with a sewing machine and spent years making custom gowns that helped add a touch of class to untold number of wedding photos. She was married to the late Raymond Louise Poulin Sr. who preceded her in death on September 6, 2003. Mr. Poulin was retired from the USMC. A rosary service will be held at 10:30 a.m. by the Catholic Daughters with a funeral mass immediately following at 11 a.m. Friday, October 24, 2014 at Infant of Prague Catholic Church, 501 Bordeaux Street, Jacksonville, NC 28540. The Poulin family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the church hall. A private family graveside service will be held at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery on Monday, October 27, 2014. Poulin (Anita) of Pleasant Hill, CA, Steven A. Poulin (Kimberly) of Iva, SC, Carlton Dennis Poulin (Kay) of Schenectady, NY; daughter, Teia Marie Poulin (Maggie) of Wake Forest; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Carl F. Lozon, III (Marilyn) of Colchester, VT, Frederick Lozon of Bealeton, VA; sisters, Carol J. Lozon of Burlington, VT and Constance Munro (Alan) of Juneau, AK.
