We are saddened to announce the passing of Yvonne Smith, who left us on November 21, 2025, in Jacksonville, Florida, United States. She was born on December 18, 1973, to her loving parents Danny Smith Sr and Ida Martin.

Yvonne was married to her devoted spouse Parnell Jackson in the year 2015, and together they raised three beautiful children - Kierra Smith, Auburn Hunter (with spouse Skyler Hunter), and Mya Smith. She also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren.

Yvonne attended McGavock High School and graduated in 1999 before furthering her education at Tennessee State University, where she graduated in 2006. She dedicated many years of service to the military, retiring in 2018 after proudly serving in the Army.

Aside from her professional accomplishments, Yvonne was known for her passion for helping her community and making a positive impact wherever she went. She brought joy and light to the lives of those around her and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Yvonne battled bravely against breast cancer until the very end, showing incredible strength and courage. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her.
