Yovette S. Gibson with hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Yovette S. Gibson, born in 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, and peacefully departed this life on August 10th, 2026, in Westland, Michigan. Yovette was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, proud great-grandmother, and faithful friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arthur E. Gibson, with whom she shared 30 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a family rooted in love, strength, and unwavering commitment. Family was the center of Yovette’s life. She found her greatest joy in spending time with those she loved, creating lasting memories filled with laughter, warmth, and togetherness. For more than 35 years, Yovette enjoyed a career as a realtor. She had a genuine passion for homes and took pride in helping individuals and families find a place to call their own. Yovette leaves to cherish her precious memory, her loving daughters, Mia Scharfner and Tia Scharfner, her beloved grandchildren, Chelsey Shaw, Alexis Shaw, Makiah Hardiman, Kristen Hardiman, Sierra Hardiman, Caleb Hardiman, Josh Hardiman, Michael Hardiman, and her three great-grandchildren, Ava Hatcher, Arabella Hardiman, and Makai Hardiman. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew25:23.
