YOLANDA WITT Yolanda Witt of Kansas City, MO passed peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2017, at the age of 65, due to complications from cancer.A celebration of Yolanda's life will be held at 4:00 pm Monday, July 10, 2017 at Unity Temple on the Plaza (707 W. 47th St., KCMO). A brief reception will follow directly after services at Unity. Yolanda was born on November 10, 1951 in Kansas City, MO to John and Avelina (Madrid) Lopez. Yolanda held various interior design positions within Kansas City before spending the majority of her 25 year career with Ethan Allen. She was an interior designer and then manager for Ethan Allen for several years when she retired for health reasons. Yolanda's survivors include her four children, Steve, Johnna, Nina, and Sterling; two brothers, John Lopez and Bernard "Bernie" Lopez; mother Avelina; and 10 beloved grandchildren.
