Yolanda Shorter, born on March 27, 1972, peacefully passed away on June 27, 2025, in Houston, Texas, She was the beloved daughter of Robert Shaw and the late Annie Shorter.

Yolanda is survived by her four loving sons: Andre Shorter, Dominique Shorter, Davion Shorter, and Aaron Shorter. She was a devoted grandmother to twelve grandchildren. She grew up surrounded by a large family and enjoyed spending time with all her aunts, uncles, cousins, siblings, nieces and nephews.

Yolanda was passionate about arts and crafts, fishing, games, and also love going to the casinos, and she found joy in these hobbies throughout her life. She touched the lives of so many and will be remembered fondly for her kindness, loyalty, compassion and gentle spirit.

On June 27, 2025, Yolanda lost her battle with pancreatic cancer. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family.

Yolanda is preceded in death by her grandfather Preston Shorter (1998) Grandmother Mercy Dee Williams (2001) and her mother Annie Mae Shorter (2021).
