Yolanda Magnolia Jones was born on March 7, 1966 to Lizzie and Willie Keith, Sr. in Birmingham, Alabama. She attended Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Ensley, Alabama where she served on the Usher Board. Also, she was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Yolanda Magnolia Jones confessed Christ at an early age. She attended P.D. Jackson-Olin High School and graduated with the Class of 1983. While attending Jackson-Olin, Yolanda demonstrated her mustang pride by serving as head cheerleader. She went on to attend Dillard Universit. Yolanda was employed with Grandview Hospital as a Monitor Tech for five years. She was greatly loved and supported by her co-workers. She was currently attending Herzing University and was scheduled to graduate in the Spring of 2021 with an Associates in Nursing.

Since 2001, she served faithfully on the PTA in every role and was currently on the Birmingham City Schools PTA Council as Treasurer.

Yolanda was a dedicated and loving mother, grand darling, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend to many. She was full of life, joy, excitement, and radiated an absolutely sweet spirit everywhere she went. She was a die-hard Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia Eagles, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Duke Blue Devils fan.

On February 1, 2021, Yolanda went to meet her Lord and Savior and to rejoin the love of her life, Gregory Jones.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Gregory Jones; parents, Lizzie and Willie Keith, Sr.; brothers Willie Keith Jr., Dan Henderson Jr., and Ben Henderson, Sr.

Yolanda's memories will forever be cherished and kept alive by her loving son Irvin Keith(Britney Zorns); grand darlings Amena Keith, Jordan Keith and Ivy Keith; her aunt and namesake Magnolia Cook; siblings Bereta Ann (John) Carson; Wilhemena (George) Pritchett, WillKam (Thelma)Brown, Rosemary King, and Sheila Gray; her sister-n-laws, Anita Abrams and Ashley Dallas; brother-n-law Latham Jones as well as a host of nieces, nephews, special cousins and friends.
