Age 38 | Cambridge, Massachusetts
Yolanda LaToya Lowe, lovingly known as "Toya," was born on March 5, 1987, and passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 38, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Toya was a devoted mother, loving partner, cherished daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. To know her was truly to love her. She had a beautiful, caring, and compassionate heart and was known for her strength, independence, and courage. Toya was the kind of person who would give to anyone at any time - often giving her very last, even if it meant going without herself.
She leaves behind her loving partner, Joseph Crawford, and her beloved children: Kamaria Lowe, Kaleel Lowe, Khia Lowe, Taraji Crawford, Magnolia Crawford, and Kamir Lowe, whom she now reunites with in heaven.
Toya was born to Angela Lowe (deceased) and Tracy Warren; her siblings, Tyrone Lowe, Rogina Lowe, and Dawn Lowe; and her nieces and nephews: Trishelle Lowe, Angelina Lowe, Tristan Lowe, Anaijah Perkins Taste, Janayah Thurmon, Elisha Williams, and Tyrone Lowe Jr., who preceded her in passing.
She also leaves behind special loved ones who held a profound place in her heart, including April Hughes and Ashley Taste, cousins who were more like sisters; her Aunt Theresa; her grandmother, Mamie Moment; and her grandfather, Eli Young.
Toya loved true crime stories, documentaries, TikTok, and scary movies, but above all she cherished time spent with her children and close family. She supported many charities and was always willing to help those in need. She was an amazing parent who always put her children first.
Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of her life. Through every trial and triumph, Toya leaned on her faith.
In her final days, she focused on strengthening her relationship with God and teaching her children to do the same. Even through illness and struggle, she clung to Jesus, serving as a powerful reminder of true faith and Godly love.
Toya was known by many and loved by all. Her life stands as a testament to selflessness, faith, and unconditional love. May her memory inspire us all to love more deeply, give more freely, and support one another as she always did.
