Yaeko KanekoAug. 1, 1921 - Oct. 22, 2016 After a short illness, Yaeko Kaneko, 95 of Stockton, died unexpectedly Oct. 22, 2016 at home. Yaeko was born on Aug. 1, 1921 in Santa Maria, CA. She married Carl Kaneko in San Jose, CA. Yaeko was employed by San Joaquin Co. as a secretary for Dependent Children's Home fo 20 years.Yaeko was preceded in death by her husband Carl, sister Kay, brothers Don and Joe. She is survived by brother George, sister Carolyn, son Stan and wife Nancy, grandson Brian, daughter Patti Hutton and husband Jimmy, grandsons Brett and Eric, many nieces and nephews.Memorial service will be held on Sat. Nov. 5, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Cherokee Memorial Park in Evergreen Chapel.
