When GOD, with His grace and mercy, called Winnie home, her battle with cancer was won, her fight was finished! I Winnie Louise Haper Regis, called Minnie by some Goff-Ann by others, left this earth peacefully Sunday November 03 2024 in her bed, at home. She is just another soldier gone home to rest with Jesus. Winnie was first born of fourteen brothers and sisters. She was born in Edgecombe county December 14 1942 to late Annie Lee Thomas and Dewey Revis. after graduation from G.W. Carver High School she traveled to New York City in pursuit better life for herself and family after working various jobs Winnie accomplished becoming a social worker work for 35 years in Brooklyn New York were she met Sammy Harper they had 6 children. Winnie leaves her children and her 10 grandchildren with love and memories.
