Wilmary Mae Jennings, 85, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2025, in Killeen, Texas. Born on October 24, 1940, in Dallas, Texas, Wilmary spent much of her life in the city where she was raised and where she built a legacy of love, kindness, and service.
From an early age, Wilmary had a gift for connecting with others. Her warmth and genuine spirit left a lasting impression on those who knew her. She loved her family and friends wholeheartedly and unconditionally, always finding joy in spending time with them and welcoming new people into her life with open arms.
Wilmary dedicated several years of her professional life to the Dallas school system. In her role there, she became known for her patience, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the students and staff she served. Her presence brought comfort and encouragement to many, earning her deep respect and affection throughout the community.
Her greatest pride was her family. Wilmary’s legacy lives on through her cherished children: Tony Jennings, Shante Jennings, and Robert Jennings; grandchildren: Jerome Turner, Oliver Turner, Kayla Harden, and Brittany Harden; four great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
