Wilma Clark LUBBOCK-Graveside services for Wilma Clark, 96, of Lubbock will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park Cemetery with Ron Huckeby officiating. The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. in the Peaceful Gardens Chapel prior to the graveside. Services are under the direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. Wilma died Sunday, Oct. 23, in Lubbock. She was born on Jan. 10, 1920, in Charleston, Texas, to William O. and Homie Elmore Wright. She married Elton Clark on Sept. 9, 1939, in Paris, Texas. She was a Southern Baptist, enjoyed people and loved gardening. She is survived by four daughters, Donna and Cecil Womack, Jane Carter, Lindy Clark and Cindy Hagerman, all of Lubbock; two sons, John and Ricky Clark, both of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels.
