We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Willie Lowman, who passed away on February 5, 2025, in Athens, Georgia. Willie was born on July 18, 1966, to James and Sallie Lowman.

Willie had a lively spirit and a great sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him. He was a proud graduate of Classic City High School, where he completed his studies in 1986.

After graduation, Willie pursued a career in the military and served in the Army as an E8 in the Brigade unit for 25 years. He was dedicated to his service and retired in 2012.

Willie did not have any children of his own, but he cherished his time with his fellow soldiers and friends. He was known for his infectious laughter and positive attitude, always lifting the spirits of those he encountered.

On February 5, 2025, Willie sadly passed away due to a stroke. While we mourn his loss, we will always remember him for the joy and laughter he brought into our lives.

Willie Lowman may be gone, but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
