Willie Earl "Pop" Williams, son of Josephine Williams and the late Wilbert Williams was born January 15, 1955 in Spiveys Corner, NC. He was second born to 5 children including Kathy, Linda, Wilbert and Herbert. Willie served 20+ years in the United States Military as an electrical engineer. Willie was honorably discharged in 1996, receiving several accolades in acknowledgment of his military service. Willie attended Central Carolina Community College in 2006, where he proudly received his Electrical Engineering Associates Degree. 

Willie's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the hearts of his former spouse, Gloris Washington and domestic partner, Sherbedine McEachern. He is also remembered, with love, by his six children: Tanisha Williams, Tysha Williams, Martina McEachern, Alicia McEachern, Natasha Jones, and Justice Beasley. seven grandchildren: Qytisha Clemons, Lakendra Carroll, Tykel Johnson, Dequantia Jones, Nazir Williams, Julian Williams and Jakai Mceachern-Beasley and One Great Child: Kyasia Clemons. Willie will be further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends and fondly remembered by his friends and family as a loving father and proud patriot as a US Army Veteran.
