Willie Earl Roberts, 65, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Village at Luther Square. He was born on January 29, 1951 in Waynesboro, Miss., to Linn McCain and the late Brunetta Dixon Roberts. He loved watching sports; his favorite team being the Washington Redskins, his favorite basketball team, the Boston Celtics, and shooting pool, cooking, music, and spending time with his children. Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Damien Drayer and a niece, Ceciley Crawford. Survivors include his father, Linn McCain; his wife, Linda Lofton Roberts; a daughter, Falecia Marie Bibbs (Cliff); six grandchildren, Ottavian, Khy-Reon, Clifford II, Jahmeir, Llynn, Ciroc Bibbs, all Erie; a step-daughter, Tanisha Lofton of Marietta, Ga.; a stepson, Andrew Nixson of Erie; four brothers, Napoleon Roberts, James Roberts (Sue), Sherman Roberts (Barbara), Jerry Roberts (Lori), all of Erie; two sisters, Treasie Speed of Erie and Rose Crawford of Memphis, Tenn.
