MALIN, William Thomas "Bill",,36, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017. Bill was born on September 27, 1980 to Hal and Cathy Malin.Bill always made time to help anyone in need. He was a hardworking electrician who always got the job done. He earned his Eagle Scout as a teenager and had a lifelong love of the outdoors. He would go camping or fishing at the drop of a hat, dragging along anyone willing to go. He was a child at heart, and children loved him instantly. He would spend hours working on his Jeep and loved taking it off road. He was always up for a challenge, and his laughter was infectious. He was loved by many and loved them greater in return. Bill is survived by his parents; sister, Christina Mitchell; brother, Matt Malin (Kelly); fiancé, Jill Hutcheson; grandmother, Evelyn Malin; nieces, Jessica Jenkins (Ashley), Hazel Malin; nephews, Finn and Charlie Malin; great niece, Emery Jenkins; dog, Kai; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm, on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, East Louisville. Burial will follow in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16, 2017, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boy Scouts of America or Kentucky Humane Society in Bill's name.
