William Shane Hand, 72, of Kansas City, died December 20, 2019, at his home in Springfield, Missouri.

Mr. Hand was born January 10, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Kenneth and Beverly (Holt) Hand.

He attended Booneville High School in Booneville, Mo. He continued his education at KC Community College in Kansas City, Kansas, graduating in 1969 with an associate's degree in construction management.

He enjoyed fishing and riding his  Harley. He loved hunting and visited his dear lease without fail every season.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly Hand of Leavenworth, Kansas; his daughter, Shana Sims of Denton, Texas; brothers and their spouses, Kenneth Jr. and Leah Hand, and Tony and Maggie Hand; several nephews; and special friend, Eva Gibson of Springfield.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Hand.
