It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Kennedy, who left this world on January 23, 2025, just three days shy of his 23rd birthday. William was a beloved son, friend, and member of the community in Horseheads, New York.

William was born on January 26, 2002, to his parents Scott and Angela Kennedy. He studied at Horseheads High School and graduated in 2020. During his time in school, William discovered his passion for firefighting and dedicated his time and energy to helping others as a member of the Town and Country Volunteer Fire Department.

William will be remembered for his selflessness, bravery, and dedication to serving his community. His hobbies included firefighting, a passion that brought joy and fulfillment to his life.

Although William did not have any children of his own, he leaves behind a legacy of kindness and service that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. William is survived by his siblings Dillon Kennedy, Nick Kennedy and twin sister Alexandretta Kennedy (Abigail Cleary) along with several nephews, nieces and cousins

There will be no prior calling hours. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
