William Shaw, 82 from Snowflake, Arizona, peacefully passed away on August 25, 2024. He was born on March 4, 1942.

William Joe Shaw, or Billy Shaw known by his family, was born in Seymour, Texas, on March 4, 1942. He married Mary Wilhelm on December 6, 1965, and they had their first child, Devona Kay Shaw, on January 9, 1968. Later, Billy married Nora Jean Bigler on August 18, 1988. Nora was born on March 3, 1960, in Corpus Christi, Texas, and they got married on June 30, 1990, at Mesa Temple.

Billy’s journey started at Gilbert High School, where he graduated and He later joined the Army.

Billy was preceded in death by his late wife, Nora Shaw; his parents, Ernest Noble Shaw and Opal Virginia Shaw; and his grandson, James Clark tomkinson jr.

He is survived by his children, Devona Kay Shaw, Jaime Nicole Winder, Jace and Josh Walton; his grandchildren, T.W. Gilmore, Tyie Shaw, Shauna Cullum, Robert Shaw, Damian Shaw, Abishia Mallien, Domonic Mallien, Keilien Mallien, Leanora Walton, Adeline Walton, Vanessa Walton, and Jerimiah Walton; his great-grandchildren, Kylie Cullum, Braxton Winder, Kenzie Cullum, Chloe Winder, Alaina, Kaiden, Alianna, and Everly Shaw;

He was a loving father, grandpa, and brother who will be deeply missed.

Services will be held on November 8th at 10:00 at the Snowflake Cemetery.
