William H. Chillis Sr. was born to Dave and Sadie Chill (both of whom proceeeded him in death) William confessed his life to Christ as his personal savior an early age.

William attended Leland H.S and the U.S Navy.

William was a devoted Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and Friend. He was known as Chilli to many. He was always there to give advice, be a soulder to lean on and he was always willing to lend a helping hand William was the last of 10 Brothers and Sisters.

William worked at Howard Foundry and W.H Hutchinson. He had a love for carpentry and masonary. He earned several certificates in welding and public relations.

William married Eula Price (who also preceeded him in death) in 1940, who he also married.

William had 4 Brothers Billie, Clinton, Isaiah and Dan 5 Sisters Jessie Mae, Alberta, Flora Ann, Josephine and Estella.

On Thursday July 11, 2019 at 2:48 a.m, William wrote the final chapter of his life, closed the book and went to his eternal home.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving children; William Jr.(Bessie) of Chicago Il, Jerry, Frank, Tina, Gloria and Hanna Mae all of Leland MS. 129 grandchildren, 87 great grandchildren, 56 great great grandchildren and 14 great great great, A special neice Rosemary Benson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends and relatives.
