LAGRANGE — William B. Hamilton, 81, of LaGrange, Indiana, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Mr. Hamilton was born on October 4, 1934, in LaGrange, Indiana, to Fred and Bertha (Garmire) Hamilton. Living his lifetime in LaGrange, he retired from Sealed Power in LaGrange where he had worked in purchasing for 28 years. Mr. Hamilton was a United States Army veteran. On June 26, 1954, in LaGrange, Indiana, he married Betty L. Whitman. Mrs. Hamilton preceded him in death on October 21, 1992. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Theresa and Allen Miller of Howe, Indiana, and Denise "Shelley" Hamilton of LaGrange, Indiana; two grandsons, Nathan Miller and Tony Miller; two great-grandsons, Kain Miller and Braxton Miller; and a sister, Florence Kunznick of Ferguson, Missouri. His parents, Fred and Bertha Hamilton; three sisters, Ruth Brown, Jean Doney and Janice Ewers; and a brother, Robert Hamilton; also preceded him in death. According to his wishes, cremation services have taken place. A private family graveside will take place at a later date.
