Dr. William H. Cunico, 83, a resident of Las Vegas and Conchas Dam, passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, in Clovis after a brief illness. He was born on April 22, 1931, in Raton. He served northern New Mexico as a chiropractor for more than 50 years. He loved hunting, golfing, boating, fishing, and scuba diving. In his younger years, he also enjoyed square dancing and traveling throughout the United States as well as abroad. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Myrtle Cunico; and one son, Ronald Cunico. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wilma of Las Vegas; son, William Edward Cunico and wife, Kathy, of Raton/Phoenix; daughter, Sandra Sue Townsend and husband, Terry, of Clovis; son, Anthony Scott Cunico and wife, Gale, of Las Vegas; as well as eight grandchildren (Chrissy, Lisa, Casey, Melissa, Ronald, Cheyanne, Krysta, and Lexie) and seven great-grandchildren.
