William Thorpe Sr, 64 of Raleigh, North Carolina, passed on August 17, 2023. William was born on Aug. 13, 1958. William was a husband, and father of 8. William leave behind Alicia Nicole, 37 of Rocky MT, NC, DeDe Thorpe, 32 of West Virginia, Demetrius Thorpe 30, of Rocky MT, NC, Milton Thorpe Jr, 28 of Cranberry Twp, PA, Victoria Thorpe, 24 of Miami, FL, Terrance Thorpe, 19 of Wilson, NC, Maria Thorpe, 17 of Rocky MT, NC, and Antonio Thorpe, 12, of Rocky MT, NC. Lots of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

William held many public eye roles in the Nash and Edgecombe counties including public schools, and was highly respected in his church. William passed away late afternoon after a successful suicide attempt, after the passing of his beloved wife Linda Thorpe.
