It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Genous, beloved son of Willie and Bertha Genous. William was born on April 10, 1980, in Yazoo City, Mississippi, United States.

William's life was one filled with love and laughter, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He also leaves behind a beloved sister Alona Genous and beloved brother Arnold Genous. With a host of nieces and nephews.Despite not having any children of his own, William was a source of support and guidance to many in his community.

William was a proud graduate of Yazoo City High School, where he made lasting friendships and cherished memories. He was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering loyalty to those he cared about.

On July 17, 2024, William departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and integrity. He will be remembered fondly by his family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to have known him.
