William Thomas "Tommy" Clinton EDGEMOOR - William Thomas "Tommy" Clinton, age 57, passed away at home on Monday, April 11, 2016. Tommy is survived by his wife, Bonnie Clinton of Edgemoor, SC; his sons, Jason Clinton and Joshua Clinton of Edgemoor, and his grandchildren Hayle Caraway, Hunter Clinton, Shawna Hughes and Caleb Clinton; his step-father Randy Helms; his brothers Jimmy Clinton of Rock Hill and Chris Mullis of Edgemoor. He is preceded in death by his father Edward Clawson Clinton, and his mother Andrella Gayle Helms. Tommy was born on September 3, 1958 in Rock Hill, SC. He graduated from Rock Hill High School in Rock Hill, SC. Tommy accepted a position Duke Energy where he worked for more than 38 years. Tommy was a great family man and a loving father. He married Bonnie Jean Nicholson from Charlotte, NC on September 21, 1975, married for 39 years. Tommy was a social, active man who enjoyed spending quality time with this family and was deeply involved in all types of hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed gardening and preparing home cooked meals with his wife. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind, caring, and generous person. He was always thoughtful of others, constantly making phone calls to check on his friends and family. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 15, at 4:00pm in the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
