William "Bill" Hendrix, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on October 27, 2025 at the age of 84. He was born on December 12, 1940, to the surprise and delight of his parents.
Bill lived a full and adventurous life, serving in the Air Force and later settling down to raise a rambunctious brood of five children. His partner in crime, Lavon Hendrix, stood by his side through thick and thin.
Bill had many hobbies, including golf, fishing, and watching The Chiefs whoop up on their divisional rivals. He was a true sports fanatic who never missed a game.
Despite his many accomplishments, Bill's greatest legacy is the 8 grandchildren who will carry on his mischievous spirit and love of life.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but mostly by his golf buddies who will no longer have to put up with his questionable swings and colorful language on the course.
Rest in peace, Bill. May your golf balls always find the fairway and your fish always be biting. And may The Chiefs forever reign supreme.
