We mourn the passing of William Stearns, who was born on February 3, 1968, in DeBary, Florida, United States. He was the beloved son of Michael Stearns and Sheila Stearns. William leaves behind his devoted partner, Lisa Stearns, along with their three children: Brittany Stearns (spouse David Abrams), Andrew Stearns, and Robert Stearns (spouse Yadrially Stearns). He was a loving grandfather to six grandchildren.

William attended Amsterdam High School and graduated in 1986. He went on to work at Bowman Painters, where he found great fulfillment in his work. Alongside his career, William had a passion for spending time with his grandchildren, family, and friends. Billy had a legendary sense of humor, who always aimed to make people laugh. He was known to many and a friend to all; to know him was to love him. He embraced his role as Poppy and created magical memories for his grandchildren for years to come.

William Stearns passed away suddenly on July 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him. Rest in peace, William.
