A Beautiful Soul

On April 5, 1983, William A. Renner was introduced to this world. Born to parents Elizabeth and Emile, was a healthy baby boy. Although biologically Emile is his dad, Angelo Downey Sr. is his father, and the man who raised William as his own son. William, but we call him Willie, was the first and oldest boy, and, even if he was not Elizabeth's firstborn out of the eight children, he was definitely everyone's big brother. Although Enid is the eldest, Willie was the protector and big brother to all of his siblings. From his mother he has seven siblings; Enid, Angela, Angelo, Charleen, Wesley, Alexis, and Leah. Willie also has three siblings on his biological dad's side; Bamicia, Randolphe, and Emsyl.

Growing up, Willie was always the kind and happy kid everyone wanted to play with. He was very athletic and loved all sports, but football held a special place in his heart. Throughout his days in school, especially in junior high and high school, William was a well accomplished running back, once scoring five touchdowns in one game and averaging two per game. His love for the sport was like no other. Calm and mild-mannered around others, but a completely different person when he was on the field.

Awards and certificates might have been great accolades for Will as he was in school, but as an adult, William received his greatest accomplishments when he became a father. His children were everything to him, and brought him so much joy. He was a great father. His boys meant the world to him. The oldest of the four is William Isaiah Renner (14), also known as, "Little Willie", followed by Jordan Renner (12), Jayson Renner (10), and Christofer Renner (8). He was a full-time, and very hands-on, dad who loved to do homework with his boys every day, take them to the park to play sports, or just hang out with them at home. He was very involved with their school activities, that the school staff knew him on a first name basis. He would give his all and his last to his children, and did all he could to make sure that they knew he loved and cared for them.

William is loved, respected, and will be missed by his entire family. His grandma Margie, great-aunt Wandra, his aunt Olive, Phyllis, Delphine (DC), and LyNetta, his uncle Anthony and Claude, his cousin Siatta, Claude Jr., Emile, Joesph, TaNia, Ryan, Charlene, Antwan, Antonio, Mikey, Jacob, Phillip, Monica, Keisha, Byron, Brandi, Shauntai, Sylvia, Jay, Christopher, Anastasia and Gary.

William is preceded in death by his younger brother Emsyl Wilson, and his cousins, Keicia Mahome and Armani Rhodes.
