William Carson McCoy Jr, 79, passed in his home on October 22, 2021. He was born to William Carson McCoy Sr and Lucilee Edgar in Baltimore, Maryland on July 07, 1942.

He married Denise Marie McCoy in 1974 and they shared a life together for 45 years and currently reside in Anthony, New Mexico. Together they raised 2 children Justin Carson McCoy and Layla Claire Kosich, married to Stephen Kosich. He was also a proud grandfather to his 2 grandsons, Carson and Connor Kosich.

Carson graduated from Ector County High school in Odessa, Texas and continued his education at the University of Texas at El Paso, formerly known as the School of Mines.

He started his own company, Carson McCoy Tree Service in 1977 and proudly served the El Paso area and beyond. He was passionate about aboriculture and educating the importance of preserving and caring for trees properly. He took part in many committees and programs relating to his specialty as an arborist.

Carson served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He proudly lived his life as a Vietnam Veteran and a Patriot. He was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and Past Master of Lodge 1111. Carson was also a member of the El Maida Shrine Temple in El Paso. He later joined the El Paso Sheriff's Posse.

He is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren, brother Jim McCoy and family, sister Virginia Jones and family.
