We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Wille Mae James, who peacefully left us on November 6, 2025, at the age of 78 in Chicago, Illinois.

Wille Mae was born on August 18, 1947, to her loving parents Frank James Sr and Lillian Davis. She was the devoted partner of Roosevelt Stevenson and together they raised four children: Joyce, Jennifer, Jojuana, and Ricardo.

Wille Mae was a dedicated employee at General Motors and also found joy in helping others through her work at the Helping Home organization. She had a heart for serving the community and spent countless hours feeding the homeless and serving as the head church usher.

Wille Mae leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness, as well as her ten cherished grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
