Duerr, Jr., Willard "Willie"Willard "Willie" Duerr, Jr., age 71, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017, surrounded by family after a long illness.He was born on May 10, 1945, To Willard Sr. & Virginia Duerr.Willie graduated from high school in 1963 in Milwaukee. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and proudly served his country.He was a mechanic by trade, working for various companies including EJ Peter Trucking.Willie was an avid Packer fan. He loved his family especially his grandsons. They were the greatest joy of his life. He spoiled them as much as he could. They fished, played football, played cards and took rides in Papa's truck.Survivors include his partner of 25 years, Kathy "Bear" Hollander; step-children, Jodi (Jim) Bankes, Jon (Rachel) Call, Sue Pratt and Charlotte Brunson; grandchildren, Carter and Zander Bankes.He is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Diane Berndt.Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 S.
