Willard Lee Shimel age 59 passed away on July 22, 2023 in his home in Independence Mo. Willard was born and raised in Independence Mo. He was born to the late Willard Adin of Kansas City Missouri, and the late Wanda Shimel of Chillicothe Missouri. Willard served from 1982-1986 in the U.S.Navy. Willard had never married and had no children. He is survived by one brother Russell Dale Mortenson of California, two sisters Valerie Kay Owens of Maryville Mo, and Jackie Irene Campbell of Milan Mo, four nephews Stephen Pauley, Ricky Pauley, Shane Owens, and Dillion Owens, five nieces Melissa Sharr, of Milan Mo, April Sharr of Independence Mo, Megan Pauley of Milan Mo, Selina Owens, and Renee Daniels both of Maryville Mo.
