Whitney Marie Gray, 22, of Independence, Mo., passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016.A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence.Whitney was born on February 26, 1994, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Sean and Christy Gray. She was known for being strong-willed, but she also had a very big heart and always wanted to help.
